Privacy policy
Last updated: 16 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data First Spin (firsttimegambler.com) handles and why. We keep it small on purpose.
Who is responsible
The controller is First Spin (firsttimegambler.com). Contact: hello@firsttimegambler.com.
What is stored in your browser
The site saves three small items in your browser's local storage: your age confirmation, your nickname and coin balance, and whether you closed the storage notice. This data stays on your device. We don't receive it and we can't see it. The cookie policy lists the exact keys.
You choose the nickname. Please don't use your real name or other details that identify you.
What our server records
Like most websites, our web server keeps standard access logs: IP address, date and time, the page requested, and browser information. We use them to keep the site secure and working. They are kept only as long as needed for those purposes. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure site (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
What we don't do
- No accounts, emails or passwords are collected.
- No advertising or tracking cookies, and no analytics tools.
- No requests to third-party services. Fonts and scripts are served from this site.
- We don't sell personal data.
If we ever add analytics or advertising tags, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.
Who handles data for us
Our hosting provider processes server logs on our behalf. If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct it, have it erased, restrict or object to its processing, and receive a copy of data you provided. Data kept in your browser is under your control: you can remove it at any time by signing out or clearing site data. To use your other rights, email us.
You can also complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (Tietosuojavaltuutettu) at tietosuoja.fi, or to the authority in your own country.
Children
The site is for adults only. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
